Fashionable Family Friday: Ready to Roll

If I didn’t know better, I’d think I was patiently waiting for the bus.
Attention Grabber

I don’t know the story behind this car, but it has a permanent spot in front of some shops in Woodstock, GA. While locals walked past without a second glance, the rest of us were gawking at its accoutrements.

Fashionable Family Friday: Scrub-a-Dub-Dub

Too much soaking makes you wrinkly. It was time to get out.
If the Shoe Fits…

Our dear nephew F is well over six feet tall and wears a size fifteen shoe. His one request during a recent visit was to stop by Friedman’s, a shoe store in Atlanta that caters to big feet. Fashionable Family Friday: Off With Her Head!

March of the Mushrooms

Shadows of the Eclipse

I did not realize that one of the side-effects of today’s eclipse would be these dramatic crescent moon shadows filtering through our trees. H captured this image on our driveway (note the lonely leaf) while collecting the afternoon mail. It looks like a miniature lunar landscape.
Fashionable Family Friday: Finger-Lickin’ Good

It’s a bit difficult to see, but I am holding a chicken leg wrapped in a paper towel. That seems like a good workaround, since it’s obvious that I can’t reach the lunch counter… and the wrapping will keep my hands clean.
