On a recent visit to the Chattanooga Aquarium with family, H and I discovered freshwater stingrays. I had always thought they only lived in salt water… and I have never seen such vibrant colors and intricate patterns. Obviously, I don’t know much about stingrays.
Nature’s Bounty
I love cone flowers, not just because I think they’re beautiful, but because they seem to be a source of nourishment for so many creatures.

While it looks like we all have the same haircut, I think that if I had sat up straight and pulled my shoulders back some, my hair would have slid back into place.

When I left work this afternoon, I was surprised to find these classic vehicles in the back of the church parking lot. It was like having our own personal car show.

My husband and I spotted this sign as we drove through an adjoining neighborhood. H mentioned that such notices were not all that common in New York, where he grew up. As for me, I thought a few more details would have been helpful.

Trend-setter that I am, it looks like I have finally convinced my sister S of the beauty of white knee socks and patent leather shoes. Now if I could only persuade her that matching white hair ties are just as fashionable. (L looking mighty cute in yellow.)
