Well, I have to give myself props for creativity.  I believe that I have pulled my mom’s half slip up under a scalloped bathing suit top and added a fake mink stole for a little extra elegance.  The paper bags are always a great touch.

While in San Francisco last week, H and I discovered this beautiful and intricate glasswork by a local artist.  (You can find out more about him here and here.)

By the excitement in H’s voice, I thought we were finally going to witness a critter using our self-service rescue float to climb out of the pool.  We had to scoop this little chipmunk out, however, when he began paddling in the opposite direction.  He looks a little worse for the wear, but it was actually a successful save.

My cousin V (who, I might add, turned out to be a brilliant attorney) seems to be wondering what’s going on.  I, on the other hand, look like the cat who swallowed the canary, while S looks like she’ll soon be demanding money to keep silent.
