I know the trend these days is serving farm-to-table meals, but this is the closest I’ve come to producing an edible garden… small pots of mint, parsley, and basil. H refers to this mode of operation as yard-to-table.
Watery Eyes
H and I have passed by this water fountain at the botanical garden many times but never noticed the relief sculpture behind the water until our last visit. Tiny ethereal faces peer out from organic plant life. Once I discovered them, I couldn’t stop staring.

Fashionable Family Friday: What Not to Wear
From the looks of our attire, the weather must have been a bit chilly. I’m struck by the differences in our footwear: sensible shoes for climbing rocks (me); socks and strappy red dress shoes for Sister L; and then there is Sister S, with her open-toed sandals that look a size too big… an accident waiting to happen.
