Everyday Valentines
H’s philosophy is that every day is Valentine’s Day at our home, and I have to agree. In light of that sentiment, I thought a little extra heart and love on this gray and cold Monday would be appropriate. These images are from our Santa Fe trip this past October.

This was Sister S’s birthday and we were visiting the miniature town of Safety Village in Tampa, Florida. S and I (standing at far right) look like we’re ready to hop the train and travel the world, but Sister L (in her stroller) appears a bit apprehensive.
Winter Color
It’s the time of year when the grays of winter can overwhelm, so I thought I’d share a splash of Mother Nature’s bounty and color (photographed from my warm and cozy kitchen) to brighten the day.
Into the Woods
It was such a gorgeous weekend that H and I visited not one but two nature centers. These images are from my favorite, the Chattahoochee Nature Center. While I explored, H enjoyed the warm sunshine. (He likes to give me plenty of time to watch birds and snap photos.)

My baby sister turns fifty tomorrow. We celebrated last weekend with a family gathering, dinner, surprises, and games. We had a blast!

Birthday Goodness
This weekend we celebrated my nephew’s eighteenth birthday at our home with a surprise dinner, games, and lots of laughter. His mom was responsible for supplying the cake. She’s a great cook, but this time around her efforts suffered from some technical difficulties. Not to worry… it tasted great!
