Another View
I’ve been learning to use the camera on my new iPhone, so while H, my nephew, and I were in Washington, DC this past weekend, I practiced… a lot. I had no idea that the camera had a burst mode until I returned home to discover that I had taken 43 fuzzy portraits of President Lincoln in his memorial, 18 blurry shots of the same tree, 58 artsy clouds with architecture, and (my favorite) 60 images of my ear.

On the BeltLine
The Atlanta BeltLine is an urban renewal project that connects historic neighborhoods, public parks, multi-use trails, and transit using an existing twenty-two mile repurposed rail corridor. Although still a work in progress, there are many miles of trails open to explore, and on a recent Saturday H and I (and a few of our good friends) did just that.
Fluttering By
The annual Butterfly Encounter was in full swing at the Chattahoochee Nature Center this past weekend. H and I got to experience the flutter and beauty of hundreds of these delicate spirits, all native to Georgia.
