H and I were in Colorado a couple of weeks ago to visit family. One evening we took a train out to Littleton, a small town southwest of Denver. Walking to a restaurant, we passed by this shop window, and I fell in love with everything about it… soft colors, simple design, basic materials, and a lovely town reflection.

Running of the Bulls… New Orleans Style






This past weekend I joined friends for the 10th Annual Running of the Bulls at San Fermin in Nueva Orleans. The highlight is always the hundreds of Rollerbulls who gave us a run for our money. All proceeds benefit two wonderful charities, Beth’s Friends Forever and Animal Rescue of New Orleans.

I always like to offer tasty strawberries to visiting turtles who pass through my garden. By the looks of the residue on his face, I believe he thoroughly enjoyed his treat.
