Littleton had a few more surprises for H and me as we walked through town:  charming expressions of creativity hidden on a side street.

Mom looks like she was really having to work to get this snapshot of my cousin V and me. I’m sure we were thinking that there is only so much time in the day to play and photos were not part of the plan.

H and I were in Colorado a couple of weeks ago to visit family.  One evening we took a train out to Littleton, a small town southwest of Denver.  Walking to a restaurant, we passed by this shop window, and I fell in love with everything about it… soft colors, simple design, basic materials, and a lovely town reflection.

I always like to offer tasty strawberries to visiting turtles who pass through my garden.  By the looks of the residue on his face, I believe he thoroughly enjoyed his treat.

Just minutes before this water fight broke out between my sisters and me, Dad was demonstrating his fishing techniques. We must have gotten bored waiting for him to retrieve his line from the trees (a habit that gave this blog its name).
