H and I travel to Arizona every year for an early Thanksgiving with family. One of our favorite places to visit is the Desert Botanical Garden, where the varieties of cactus are stunningly beautiful. Their names can be pretty impressive too. This is a Crested Bunny Ears Pricklypear.

Tonight’s Wednesday dinner at church was a Thanksgiving feast. With seventeen turkeys cooking in the kitchen all afternoon, the building smelled heavenly. These were the centerpieces on each table, lovingly made by the kids in the Children’s Ministry. (I especially love the googly eyes.)

While in Arizona this past weekend, H and I visited the interestingly spelled OdySea Aquarium in Scottsdale. I always forget how calming and meditative it is to watch sea life.
