Fashionable Family Friday: Choice Seating

Easter Sunday! It appears that Sister L and I claimed Dad’s knees before Sister S did. (The fact that she’s marching away from us is not a good sign.)
View from the Top

While in New York City a couple of weekends ago, H and I visited One World Trade Center (also known as the Freedom Tower). The panoramic view from the observatory on the 100th floor is breathtaking.
Spinners

Yesterday, H and I discovered a stunning sculpture while on a walk in one of our local parks. This huge flower, its petals made of bicycle rims, towered over the path. Each wheel spun lazily in the breeze.
Fashionable Family Friday: Snuggle Bunnies

We were ready to greet the day. Just look at those fresh, smiling little faces.
Bird Games

One of the local parks that H and I frequent has a sculpture decorated with our feathered friends engaged in a variety of games. Given that the Big Chicken is Marietta’s claim to fame, I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised.
Fine Food in the Big Apple

Whenever H and I travel, we make a point to ask the locals for recommendations of places to eat. The hotel staff suggested The Pearl Diner. This unassuming little eatery quickly became our breakfast go-to favorite.
Fashionable Family Friday: Spring Travels

Next week is spring break here in Cobb County, which means that many families will be traveling. In their honor, I thought I’d commemorate one of our family trips to Niagara Falls. It looks like Sister S is now carrying TWO purses on her travels.
Heirlooms

The colors alone make my mouth water.
The Culprit

They’re lovely up close, but these evil pods have the power to coat everything in sight with a fine yellow dust. This is springtime in Georgia.
Fashionable Family Friday: Girl Talk

It appears that Mom and I were discussing the events of the day. It looks like I’m not quite holding up my end of the conversation.
