For H’s birthday, I surprised him with a visit to the Delta Flight Museum.  The recently renovated museum is located on the original site of the Atlanta airport and is filled with a variety of historic aircraft, rare aviation items, and, to top it all off, a Boeing 737-200 flight simulator (the only one open to the public in the country).  Part of his gift was an hour’s flight time in the simulator, which H happily used to fly around a virtual Atlanta.

What a wonderful birthday gift! I can only imagine the look on his face when he found out about it. Happy B-day H, I can see the smile from here!
