The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

H bought himself a drone for his birthday, and he couldn’t be happier.  I refer to it as a toy, but he claims it will be a useful tool for quality control during our upcoming roof replacement.  (It takes high-definition videos.)

On his first (and somewhat shaky) practice run, H inadvertently flew the helicopter into his mom’s Japanese Maple (a favorite tree of hers), shearing off quite a few leaves.  After that, she remained in her garden guarding her roses while he perfected his maneuvering skills.

Loved seeing “mom” sitting in such a beautiful garden watching “H” destroy things. LOL. What a lovely little story. Made me smile this morning. Thanks!
