Tasty Memories

Today we stopped in a local market to buy strawberries and ended up at the Old Fashioned Candy Shop display, where we found ourselves reminiscing about the treats of our childhoods. We came home with a nice variety of fruit, a foot-long Tootsie Roll, and a bar of banana Turkish Taffy.

Tree Fishing 
I buy regularly sweets that I used to get as a child. I can now tell that they don’t taste as good as I thought they did… but they have that taste of childhood that no new treats can replace.
